My large family recently moved to Edmonton, AB from the isolated & remote northern community of Fort Nelson on the beautiful Alaska Highway! I am a Canadian Yoga Alliance & Yoga Alliance 500hrs registered experienced Yoga teacher. I completed my training in Classical Ashtanga & Hatha Yoga systems at the Salt Spring Centre of Yoga on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia. I continued my Yoga Teacher Training in an Ashram at Mount Madonna, California under the guidance of Baba Hari Dass the Hanuman Fellowship. I have the training & ability to teach people to teach yoga and become yoga teachers themselves <3 My passion is for yoga therapy and yoga as a lifestyle rather than a workout class.
I am a mother of 5 children. I am a student Psychologist with Athabasca University in my 4th and final year of a Bachelor of Arts program. I enjoy holistic & sustainable living, the outdoors, being physically active with my family, gardening & preserving, world travel, marathon running, and living & sharing a yogi lifestyle.
I am a student of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, sharing nutrition advice/counseling as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. Although I do follow a plant-based diet, I do not believe there is a 'one-size-fits-all' nutrition regime. I am also a Personal Fitness Trainer with Can-Fit-Pro and Life Coach!
